In late May 2008, one dozen major Wall Street investment banks, managers, law firms, and other in-kind corporate donors joined to raise money to support The Darfur Project: The Next Airlift, an event that funded enough to send 1-1/2 planes filled with relief cargo to the troubled region. All money raised went directly to The Project.
